Carolyn has recently returned to Australia after working in Geneva for five years, consulting to organisations of the United Nations, other international governmental organisations, and international NGOs. The geographic, cultural and political complexities of these organisations have provided a challenging environment in which to apply her skills in organisational strategy, organisational development and organisational change. A few examples of projects with which she was involved include an evaluation of the governance processes of the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), facilitation of strategy development for a consortium of NGOs in the global health sector, a review of UNICEF’s approach to the management of its 8,000 staff, and a staff survey and subsequent OD process for UNRWA, the UN agency providing health, education and social services to Palestine refugees in the Middle East. Prior to moving to Switzerland, Carolyn consulted in Australia for over ten years to a diverse client base of public and private sector organisations in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. |
