Christine is currently consulting to chief executives and their senior teams in New Zealand, Northern Territory, Victoria and Queensland in a range of public sector organisations. She also works with senior teams in the mining industry. She has provided direct advice and support to CEOs in implementing corporate change strategies in several public service agencies. She designs and delivers executive leadership interventions which incorporate the actual work of the leaders. She is an experienced facilitator, coach and presenter, known for her energy, humour and directness. Christine is experienced with large group processes (groups of 50+). Prior to moving to consulting, Christine was the General Manager of the Programmes Group in the Australian Public Service Commission from 2004 to 2006. This group led and provided the leadership development for the senior executive service and executive levels of the Australian Public Service. This comprised a direct client group of over 30,000 executive leaders Australia wide. The team also provided a comprehensive range of public programs for staff at all levels. She has led key elements of international leadership and corporate change work in the Pacific, where, in 2006, she designed the first Pacific nation-wide leadership program for senior public servants. She led sector wide leadership programs at federal, state and agency levels. |
| In 2005 Christine led the second team of senior public servants to Jakarta where they worked with senior civil servants (CEO level) to design the shape of the Australian support to the reform of the Indonesian Civil Service as part of the $10m AusAID support package post the 2004 tsunami. She led the change resilience intervention in DIMIA for the senior executive change team responding to the Cornelia Rau and Vivian Alvarez Reports.
In partnership with Chief Executives Christine has led a major corporate and cultural change projects. She established an industry partnership with the Queensland University of Technology to conduct a long term study/evaluation of programmes of change through the ARC Linkage Grants. Her key areas of expertise are organisational change focusing on corporate and cultural aspects and management and senior executive leadership development, both at the individual and team levels. She assists senior executives and their teams develop robust communication in their relationships. Christine is an executive coach. She publishes and presents papers at national and international conferences on public sector change management and leadership. In addition, she is the Chairperson of the Board of Queenslanders Credit Union and is a director on the QUT advisory board for the School of Management. Areas of expertise:
