Les Croft

Les spent twenty years in line production management and technical operations support roles within the Steel (BHP / John Lysaght Australia) and Aluminium (Tomago Aluminium) industries. Experience was gained in leading large unionised workforces and their supervisory leaders while continually improving the technical and commercial performance of the production processes.

This was followed by ten years in management development and internal improvement consulting within the CRA/Rio Tinto Group (mineral resources industry). This consisted of five years developing and delivering management development programs at the corporate level followed by five years within an operating Business Unit (Pacific Coal – now Rio Tinto Coal Australia) focusing on Human Resource systems development and major service contract negotiation.

Since late 1999, Les has been consulting in organisational effectiveness, leadership development, team member development, facilitation, business process improvement and the development and audit of health and safety management systems.

Les is based in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

Areas of expertise
