Why are we different?

The constant challenge in all organisations is the leadership required to make the organisation successful.  Advanced Dynamics works with leaders to address the complex problems they face. Our difference lies in how we work with the leaders of organisations.  By introducing them to a range of models, theory and practice we develop their capabilities as leaders as they work on the complexity of their organisations. Participative leadership is one aspect of this complexity. Leaders develop the solutions to their problems though a participative process which we facilitate.  There is no one model of leadership, just as there is no one perfect leader.

Our people are experienced private and public sector senior executives and they bring their experience to the relationship with other leaders.  We understand the nature of leadership and we seek to build long-term relationships, which have real value for the leaders and for us. We practise what we propose.  Keenly attuned to organisational culture, thinking and individual leadership behaviours we are able to create effective responses to most challenging leadership problems.

Our experience has shown us that leaders are responding to a range of questions, some of which are:

  • Where are we headed?
  • Who is accountable? How do we know that?
  • What is the impact of culture?
  • Who is doing what around here?
  • Why did that happen? Will it happen again?
  • What do I do now?
  • What if that happens?
  • How do we find the time or resources to do what we know is necessary?
  • How do we get the organisation to act differently?
  •  

By working with leaders to develop  participative leadership, we build the organisational capability to focus on the real issues. We work with chief executives and their teams to develop robust relationships which build a shared accountability for organisational performance.  Through interventions, coaching and programs we develop leadership teams to engage in honest, tough conversations and to enable constant feedback.  We design and deliver, in partnership with the leader, programs to support this capability across the organisation and at all levels.
